Description
This mod pack is originally packed by Rider.
And also updated to meat current game release standards by itsdren.

Sadly, Keens original mods aren't available anymore. All the reason more to thank, rate and fav those mods to show support.

Reason of repacking them:
I have a lot of ships/ship blueprints that uses Keens original individual mods SubtypeID and sadly Raider's pack has changed the SubtypeID's for some reason which makes most of the blocks disappear and thus makes most bp ships break apart when pasted in world.
Also, any downloaded bp's that used Keens mod would not work. This repack is meant as a fix.

Fixed the script errors thanks to Digi.

Also fixed the cannon's mount-points, centered it's placement and changed block size from 7x1x7 to 5x1x5 for tighter builds.
Model wise, if anything brakes, i doubt i'll be able to fix anything (so far they work tho) but everything else i'll give my best to keep up-to-date.
E.g. For better or worse, the cannon barel does not have any physics so it is a bit immersion breaking if you try to ride it for a selfie. :(

Use only one of the 3 mods! Otherwise expect conflicts and unusual behavior.

Again, big, big thanks to Rider and itsdren for their contribution of keeping Keens mods alive.

REUPLOAD PERMISSIONS
Anyone can reupload following the 'reupload conditions'.

REUPLOAD CONDITIONS
  • If My mod uses another authors work that does not give editing permission by default, You will need to ask listed authors for permission first, after which the continuing conditions apply.
    This will be noted on any mods using other authors assets and other contributons.
  • Mod name cannot be the same, it has to differentiate itself from My original mod name by something, some prefix or suffix.
  • You cannot use My original mod thumbnail for Your mod.
  • You can use My videos showcasing Your mod if You don't have the ability to make Your own and if the showcase still makes sense for Your mod, e.g no significant model changes or non at all etc.
    You best decide, but any other images You are to make Yourself.
  • Credit Me, any contributing authors and link to My original mod must be provided in Your mod description.
  • Clear instructions must be provided that using Your version of mod, any bugs are to be reported solely to You on Your mod page and not My own original mod as they don't necessarily need to corelate nor do I fix and update bugs based on other peoples mod reuploads, unknown mod edits etc, nor will I ever check a mod reupload for bugs or other errors.
    By reuploading, you are taking any updating responsibility on your own.
    However, any updates I make that would still work for Your mod as well can be integrated.

REMARKS
Even if a mod is an update from another existing mod that has an open permission, the assets or code are still my own, in many cases remade from scratch so I own the rights for any assets in cases where the changes are significant.

WARNING
Failing to follow any of the listed conditions, I will consider it as copyright infringement and will take action.
If for any reupload inquiries I don't reply within a month and you attempted to contact me at least three times within that month (I just may not have seen it or wasn't able to respond timely after which I forgot about it), you are free to use it as you see fit.

haha, thanks. It might be a while but I have a couple basic ideas.

I'd suggest going to Keen's Discord as documentation is scarce, lot of times outdated or inaccurate, most come from the SE Beta which changed a lot (ya know, been 5 years and such). Part of it i guess because they shifted to Discord so any question someone ever had is lost in time, not like on forums (e.g. Nexus mods games ala Fallout 3,NV,4, Skyrim etc). I know we all are impatient but it's better in the long run. Also, Keen kinda went all "meh" on us since they kinda like started tutorials and have some still but are so badly written for newbies (at least for me) and also not updated in quite some time, tools not working, plugins missing etc etc. Ok, this is turning into a rant so i'll stop here. xD Good luck and can't wait what you come up with.

No worries, haven't modded games since Starsiege: Tribes and Tribes 2. Just kinda trying to get a feel for what I might be jumping into by going with the older files.

I think all blocks had the same outdated method call. Honestly, you can activate Rider's mod and see the errors i think. Tho I'm not sure if I fixed some script errors whilst in Beta days as well that would not even correlate to Rider's original mod anymore. Been a while. :)

Would I be right in guessing that the affected blocks were the boosters? Asking because I am currently tweaking the small grid sniper to make it more of an AAA for rotor turrets :)

As for scripts, can't remember exactly, but i think some old methods were called with missing arguments which threw errors. It worked still but game warned it was using legacy calls. Keen could drop the legacy call from working at any moment making it not work or worse, crash game or make it unstable. So i got it fixed thanks to Digi. :)

Look at the bottom left cube picture.
Its called booster i believe so thats why you might have trouble finding it. its not named upgrade.
