Sebidee's Unit Modding Template

Description
Sebidee's Unit Modding Template

Hello everyone,

I am a big supporter of modding and want to see as many new modders as possible. I specialise in unit modding and have provided this template which contains most of the tables needed to make a unit mod. Simply delete the entries in it and replace it with your own.

HOWEVER. You will not be able to create a roster expansion with this mod alone, you must also read this tutorial that I have written and follow it step by step, the link to the tutorial is below:

Sebidee's Complete Guide to Warhammer Unit Modding[www.twcenter.net]

This tutorial will teach you everything you need to know and as a demonstration I make the Altdorf Company of Honour, which I have also released as a unit mod. Click below to see the results of this tutorial and what you can learn to make for yourself.

If you have any furthur questions about the tutorial, template or unit modding in general then leave a comment on the tutorial forum page, or join my modding group.

Hello!

I'm just curious, I've read your guide and Caligula's and I was wonderding if it is possible to edit a piece of armor? Say I'd want to remove the spikes on the shoulder plate of a Chaos Warrior?

Could I also mix armor pieces from different units? For example; Chaos Warrior Legs to Arch Lector top. I assume there would be need to resize the body parts, if that's possible.

@Singemeister, no for doing that it is better to edit the mod itself. You can still use the tutorial to find out what the tables do.

@The general, I'm not sure what tables you use for lords. Your best bet for that is to download a mod that does that and then try to figure out how it works by looking at it. I would advise you to go through this tutorial first even if you aren't planning on making units, it will teach you the basics of modding and will familiarise you with PFM.

No donations are set up at the moment.

Which files are to be found for making a typical Lord in the TWW2 game?

Thank you for your forum posts and your dedication to modding

Where do I donate?
