UNSC Booster Pod

Description
The Booster Pod is a peice of equipment utilized to allow heavy UNSC capital ships (or ships not normally able to freely fly into an atmosphere) the ability to land on or leave planets. These pods are simple, powerful, and disposable as one can simply disconnect them and they fall away. If supplied with ice, they supply their own hydrogen fuel and each has a battery.

Currently only available for Autumn-class Heavy Cruiser. Eight merge blocks allow eight pods to be installed and allow the ship to at least hover safely.

How to attach: In creative, just paste this onto a merge block. In survival mode, you'll need to install a project block, position the hologram in place and build it onto the ship.

Very nice. I'm building my own 1:2 scale pillar of autumn replica in survival and was looking for these heavy lift boosters from halo reach to attach to the sides just like in the game so that it can perform planetary landings. Great job replicating these booster pods, I will enjoy using them!

I'm sure I can do that, I have a basic idea in my head. It'll need some work though

Have you thought about making a space elevator blue print based on the versions we've seen in Halo?

Phoenix-class ships are capable of atmospheric flight on their own, apparently without boosters and they can hover for ages. No one explains how that is, given that it's one of that larger UNSC ships at 2.5km/1.5 miles in length, much larger than any cruiser, and it's an old design stretching back to early colonization times, but science.

Nice job with replicating the booster attachments from Halo Reach. I was wondering if you tried using this on your Phoenix class colony ship build to land on a planet? I would think that older UNSC ships (like the Autumn or Spirit of Fire) would have some level of compatibility.
