Description
Hey I’ve written a science fiction novel called "Janitors of the Late Space Age" inspired by Space Engineers. Summer is here, if you are looking for something to read - get it from Amazon as electronic or paperback edition, it’s cheap:

---------------------

A true exploration vehicle, Adventurer is a versatile all-terrain scout used to collect ore samples or intel from the planet’s surface. It's perfect for exploring planets from the workshop, making for an immersive experience.

Its main feature is its ability to land even if dropped from orbit (tested in survival even on 370 speed and 1.3G planets!). It then uses power-efficient wheel propulsion to scout the surface or locate ice deposits that it can convert to hydrogen. Even without refueling it is able to make the trip back and out of planet’s reach.

Adventurer features advanced assisted steering. If you manage to flip it just press 3 and it will back up, ready for more exploring. It has high suspension, but lowered center of mass. This can be further improved by activating artificial mass group. This is useful when exploring low G moons. And lastly, its unique wheel setup makes it fun to ride.

With an oxygen/hydrogen generator on board you are truly independent and in order to minimize contamination of new planets, it is solar powered!

It can also be modified into a rocket buggy with a vicious ability to make intercontinental jumps or surprise drops from orbit.

Enjoy, explorers!

@Pancake Arsonist - thank you! Homeworld aesthetics is what I was aiming for. I am asctually working on a video game at the moment, but it's a simple cyberpunk-themed visual novel.

Dude, with the amount of content in that book and on here, you could make yourself a strategy game if you wanted. The style reminds me of a blend between Homeworld an Command and Conquer

modified it with a small assembler, refinery, and some thrusters. it is extremely usefull and i use it to go in space, gather platinum, and uranium, and come down to my base again. and because it can drive it is not catastrophic if i land 2km from my landing zone.

Trying this out in my survival game as first ship. added to it with small ship mods pack fir mini arc furnace, assembler, etc. Plan to add ion thrusters later so when I do get off planet I can last in space

@jarge2 Thank you for testing it. Much appreciated!

Tested this one out on mars, removed air vent, added small hydro to front of cockpit, did some hard survival exploration (and a bit of fun off roading), hit some good size air jumps with and without hydro assists with loaded cargo containers, held up better than i expected. You may want to add a third mark to durability, at least i think so. Again, an outstanding vehicle, 5/5 stars. Looking forward to more of the simple yet functional/durable/easy to use builds!
