Awesome mod - really like it. There's finally a few more divers and staff to hire!

You might want to look at them more closely however - many of them seem to be the wrong gender lol!! :P

Thanks for that link - that's just what I needed ;) (The database editor is enough now I know what those numbers mean, though it looks a bit out of date? (No 3-part qualifying/ERS?) :) )

Excel will start importing.. select "DELIMITED", then TAB and COMMA, lastly GENERAL - finish to open.

4. Rules can be found here..
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19r5kzPKbKe-YwP4NfFt6e7bW3AM1SUPrpeo3kEMQ2zs/edit#gid=2073269501

5. when finished editing save as excel (for easy future editing) - then save as "other format" - Text (tab delimited) - you now have a text file - open this up. (wait)

6. open the database in UNITY - select all - delete (fastest way)

7. go back to text file - select all copy.

8. back to UNITY - paste and save

9. save project

10. copy both the database text and meta, and place into the modding file
D:\Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motorsport Manager\MM_Data\Modding

Load the game - workshop - my workshop. you file should be here.
To test - from start new game tick test mods (top right)

If happy its working, post to steam - it will be for you only until you change the view drop down options on the right.

Also look in the workshop fourm.. lots of advise there.

The way i done it was..
1. download Unity (needed) and get the Mod tempplate supplied with the game - name project.
Program Files (x86)\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Motorsport Manager\MM_Data\StreamingAssets\Mod Template.

2. follow instructions how to start new project - ONLY select the items you want to mod, so "assets" - "database", and select what you want to mod. (championships).

3. once open in Unity, COPY the "Text" file of database you want to mod, put it somewhere (desktop/folder) - open using Excel (or simular) you will need to tick "show all files" so the copy shows up.

Actually, if I'm being honest, I could do with a guide of how to mod the rules for myself ;)

KeillRandor - im not sure what you want..?

In my save the racing is really good, the top drivers (starting at the rear of the grid) mostly finish in the top 5 or 6. yo-yoing is to be expected with reverse grids - thats the point?

Are you wanting a mod with the changes to the Championship removed?
KeillRandor 27 Feb, 2017 @ 2:31am
As I've seen though - without some other way of differentiating performance, the reverse-championship grids don't really help with a spec series, which the ERS then becomes in pretty much all but name - the teams either end up yo-yoing up and down the grid, or become the 'best of the rest' in finishing, which is how they win the championships. Garuda is winning both by race 6 in my first season, yet haven't won a single race...
