Description
Star Trek Phasers Oh my. This mod adds over a dozen phaser variants, from basic versions to more powerful and upgraded D versions, the type 1 that stuns enemies in an area of effect, the type 1E that blinds, makes enemies drop their weapons, and incapacitates enemies. It will also cauterize wounds and let them heal from infection better. There are also more standard type 3D extra long range and type 4 more powerful but lower rate of fire and range phasers. Non D variants do burn damage, and D variants will do electric damage, both bypassing normal sharp and blunt armor that highly armored enemies have, especially centipedes. Special damage defs are applied to the upgraded versions.

Phasers do not cause bleeding wounds, or leave blood on the ground. Burns may still get infected however. Clean wounds, and less blood to mop up.


The D variants and above are especially special as they won't damage your buildings, nor will they make enemies bleed. They are also, start with higher base hp, are made of stuffed materials, so their hp can be increased even further. This extra hp helps when being attacked by unavoidable explosives, and maintains accuracy instead of degraded accuracy from degraded weapon hp. All phasers do not deterioriate outside.

Exotic phaser type 2's P, W, X, M and B are mind control phasers, and will cause mental breaks Pyromania, Wander Own Room, Manhunter, Drug and Food Binges

Also adds uniforms and comm badges

Hi (Drasca/James009): I like this Mod & would be nice to see this update to (B18) before it go's to [FULL] Release v1.0 soon !! , this has :Com badges + All the Phaser type's from Old to New + Good looking Uniform's (maybe Old Style {RED Shirt} too) & the Gray/Black Movie Type ones Yet to Come in your MOD design!.. 2018 is Here! :steamhappy: updte Pls = (Star Trek Weapons [A17])!

how do you manufacture them? Is it a new workbench? A vanilla one? Is there a research rq?

love the idea... cant get around to equpping my colonists with leather phaser tho... just doesnt sound right in my rpg mind... cloth phaser... lol does it get stained it is washable ? -.-

Think of it this way, leather / fur / stuffed materials is just the custom grip and exterior. The real main bulk of the recipe is the massive number components required.

Like this mod a lot, but you should really consider restricting materials to metals only. Fur Phasers, Cloth Phasers and Leather Phasers seem a bit "woobly" to me... ;)
