Circular Exit

Description
It's a high-capacity highway exit with a roundabout and separate ramps for the traffic turning right from the highway. The slopes on the highway bridges are kinda steep, but still not ridiculously so, and it doesn't stand out too badly. Also, there are some nice trees in the middle!

Hope you like!

still working great here in 2023. not the best for super-heavy traffic but amazing for medium or mildly-heavy traffic. looks awesome. Cheers

Thank you very much, landandskygirl! I'm glad you found it useful.

This is my absolute favorite interchange in the entire workshop. Exceptionally efficient with high capacity traffic cities and yet so simple to use, perhaps better than the DCMI. You've made the road geek in me proud. Cheers :steamhappy:

So, I tested it for one in-game year in the Better Intersection Stress Test savegame by SlaxX (http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=410405710&searchtext=stress+test) . Basically, I didn't see any significant problems on the roundabout itself although the merging on the highway was expectedly weird. I personally never place interchanges close to each other though. All in all, I'm pretty confident about this one's capacity.

To kapustor666, sorry but I don't have a solution for the roundabout issue, there isn't much room to change things around to that extent. The highway paired ramps is easily resolved with the Network Extensions Mod, attaching this intersection with 5 lane highways will give all traffic the lanes they need without merging.

Cool! I think I'll do a tougher stress test to some of my intersections, perhaps in the end of the week.

oh i simply meant i havnt had the chance to test so i cant vouch for its efficiency.

To Praecipita and jvs: I did test it with a fairly moderate traffic without major problems. Did you experience pileups with it? I do get that there might be some problems with heavier traffic. How do you suggest putting roundabout exit before roundabout enterance? By making one pass over another through a bridge? I think that would require a much bigger junction though. Nevertheless, I'll avoid putting ramps on opposing sides of the highway in the future, I suppose ;)

Hi, thank you for your reviews. To Praecipita: Yes, the cone-like things are there so you can connect a large (or small) road to the end of it, thus you'll have a branching road before the roundabout.
