Crescent Bay

Description
Welcome to Crescent Bay, the siltiest bay around. This map is loosely inspired by a somewhat similar bay in Brazil, but I didn't want to spam it full of trees, so it doesn't look quite as tropical. In any case, as you can see, the outflow deposits of two big rivers has essentially created a sandy bridge across to what used to be two islands, thereby creating the bay.

The map consists of 58% buildable area, and contains 72456 trees, which leaves you with plenty to decorate your city with. It also features two highway connections, two train connections, one air connection, and one shipping connection with a ship path down the main inlet. The map is composed of entirelly vanilla assets, but the pictures above utilize Mark Fire's Monte Belo Theme.

Feel to share, and make sure to comment some pictures since I'd love to see whatever cities you can come up with!
Also, I'll be FOREVER grateful if you favorite and rate it!

I love this map, I've been using it on my main city for the past 5 months. I too had some problems with the terrain appearing uneven and bumpy, although it was easy to fix using the smooth tool. I actually liked the texture that this issue gave the mountains a lot. I think this map is great!

Gravebriar - I loved the map when I saw it. So the first night I worked on it. it was in the square that is set up as your starting point. everything went well. I saved and closed out and come back the next day and all the spaces between rods dropped to a lower level. It was strange. It was onlly the starting square. Coudl be 81 tiles and many people use that, I also wondered why you did not do more smoothing (not a critiscim) just noticed it and was playing a little with the map to do that .Again, I liked the map when I saw it. Just got sort of down when it did the weird thing,

Been needing a fresh start and your Map provided it! Thank you very much for the effort.

@JP East Bay: I personally don't run the 81 tiles mod, so I'm not sure I can help you. The map is entirely vanilla though, so I'm not sure how it could be at fault.

I have had a lot of problems with this map. After opening with 81 tiles and buildiung when I saved the heights were all screwed up. I finally just gave up
