(11 LEVELS) DRUG WAR: VENGEANCE IV

VENGEANCE (5 PART CAMPAIGN, 52 levels)
5 items
Description
Welcome to Colombia, the year is 1981 and the Drug War is raging. The Colombian state is on the edge of collapsing as narco-terrorists, communist guerillas and street gangs rage against one another. Coronel Ivan Estevez is charged with putting an end to the drug war by the failing state, but things quickly get out of control....

However, behind the scenes, something big is being planned by cocaine-trafficking kingpin Pablo Escobar, whilst the Colombian military's best soldiers hunt him relentlessly. Sensing the impending anarchy, the USA sends our two favourite members of the Ghost Wolves, the US Military's toughest soldiers, to help restore peace to Colombia...

...or so they hope.

==================

DRUG WAR is the fourth part of (and prequel to) the VENGEANCE series. It is focused on Ivan's backstory, along with two of our other heroes. As with the previous parts, this is intended to fit with HM series canon, shedding light on the Ghost Wolves' past covert-ops.

Check out the links at the bottom of this page if you want to play the previous parts of this series. I'd recommend it.

NOTE: Put the following mod into your HM2 mods folder to replace explosive debris (canisters etc) with weapon parts:

That's sad to hear. Unfortunately I've lost all the files at this point.

Thanks, I would advise playing part 5 (From The Ashes) though because that is my best work, IMO.

I know it's late, but this is probably one of the best fan made campaigns. The tone is pretty different, but I think it's compelling enough to play despite that.

Too bad. It's pretty stupid to have a character say nothing at all IMO.

i hate the way you wrote the Jacket character he seems like a total dick you shouldn't have made him talk in the first place

Yep, I can see the dialects are very different too.

Thanks for the feedback. I was not able to find an actual Colombian at the time to help with translation. Our translator was Chilean, so some localisation issues are to be expected.

There's plenty I'd do differently if I were to do this over, but it's ancient history now. Definitely the colours of the sprites would be altered somewhat.

ah ! and you can haved modified the sprite of pardo ,not the evan sprite (the colombian soldiers have permission to kill ,only who matters is the boss)
