Description
Since Space Mining Universal's incursioning in comercial space ship design, the company has been settling new horizons for the industry. SMU has established an exploration division with the sole purpose of finding planets, plausible for huge mining operations, for our clients.

A Gentle Singularity Type 2 (GST2) Black Hole, is located in the Oen3 Star System in the Julius Formation at the very fringes of the galaxy.
It has been determined that it is not a natural occurring singularity, but until now it's unknown how it came to be. However the possibility to study its effects are possible due to the close neighboring planets, Selene and Sedonia. Be careful on your approach!

I'm aware that there are other black holes available in the workshop, but it seemed kinda odd to include somebody else's work, so I made my own. It is a bit different than the others though, in that there is a white ring around the hole suggesting the bending of light around it. It is only visible when the sun lights that face up, otherwise its dark.

When getting closer to the horizon "on the lit side" you'll notice some weird light bending effects.
On the "dark side" you won't notice anything but darkness.
Inside, at the core it's very bright, here is where the light stays hidden from the outside.

If this planet still works, Patrick has created a mod, Crushing Death. This applies damage for very high levels of gravity.

There is a surface technically but its very hard to walk on. Assuming you can get a ship that can withstand the impact of the 100 m/s drop you wont be able to land, you will just clip through. There is no passive damage effect that comes with the blackhole besides the damage you sustain from hitting the event horizon.

@aversion, thanks for pointing this out. I think this happens because this hasn't been updated yet.
There are still a lot of my planets that need updating, just haven't found time to do it.
Tonight I will be releasing a list with each of my planet's UPDATE status and an approximate ETA, so you guys can know when to expect what.
I'll try my best to get them all updated as soon as possible, cheers! ;)

Hey, thanks for the info.
I still need to fix this "planet" it has some rendering errors I noticed.
HE-MAN MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE 22 Feb, 2019 @ 6:45am
Rather late considering the date of the comments, but what Captain Shadowblade wrote is entirely wrong, 120km is very small for a black hole, and there are much, much bigger ones out there. E.g. the biggest believed one has an estimated mass of 66 billion suns, which results in a event horizon radius of around 1300 AU, that's 189210000000 km. In comparison, Pluto is around 40AU away from the sun.

Updates are coming so stay tuned.
