Description

Isaac Souls is an obvious tribute to Dark Souls.

This mod is mainly a reskin of the game, adding Dark Souls' elements to Isaac.
At the moment, it replaces Monstro by the Fat Demon, which is inspired by the Asylum Demon and Ragman by the Capra Demon and the Haunt by the Moon Moth.
It also adds a new character, Soleil (inspired by Solaire) , which starts the game with a new item, the Orange Flask, which gives him soul hearts.
I plan on adding more bosses, first as reskins (and giving them unique attacks in the future) , more ennemies, mini bosses and maybe adding more items (a white soapstone would be great for example) .

What's in the mod?

one new character:

Soleil.

bosses reskin:

Monstro ---> Fat Demon
Ragman ---> Capra Demon
the Haunt ---> Moon Moth

one new item:

the Orange flask.
Lil' Haunt ---> Lil' Moth

monsters reskin:

Gapers ---> Hollows

ho, that's sad indeed :(
I didn't know the mod could break monstro's AI, that's a shame :/
It's been a long time since I spent some time on this mod, I don't even know how to make it Repentance compatible for example, so I kinda lost motivation to go back into it. I'd really like to improve things, fix some bugs and stuff but I don't know if it's gonna happen any day soon. I don't have much time these days ^^'
maybe one day?

I absolutely love the Capra Demon on this mod. The moth looks great too but I prefer for my haunt to be Kirby :) Also, although I also love the sprite for the Old Demon, for some reason on my game he seems to break the AI. He'll jump once, then just sort of sit there turning left and right but staying in one place and never attacking. I had some other mods on that may have affected Monstro, but through testing I've determined that this mod was the one breaking his AI. As soon as I turned it off Monstro worked as normal. Is there any way you could upload JUST the Capra Demon? Even better would be a config menu so you could turn off various parts of the mod...but I don't know what all that entails to create. Anyway, I really do love the mod but its sad having Old Demon just stand there and do nothing, and hes such a common boss to see so it happens a lot.
