Shamanism and Tribal Magic

This mod adds an independent branch to the Enchanting skill tree for Shamanism. Geared towards melee combat, Shamanism uses power-slotted spells to make the most out of combat without having to unequip your weapons.

You can pick up the starting quest in front of Farengar by reading the letter in front of him. All the new spells require that you have a Shamanic Talisman equipped. If you don't feel like doing the quests to obtain/upgrade it, you can get it using the command 'player.additem **00345E 1' where ** is the load order of this mod on your Skyrim.

About the spells:

The spells in this mod more or less fit into three distinct styles of shamanism: Orcish, Falmer and Forsworn.

Forsworn Shamanism focuses on communicating with spirits, and calling upon their aid. This style allows you to summon multiple spirits to fight for you in battle.
Examples from this school are summoning a pack of three wolves, or a swarm of ten wisps.


Orcish Shamanism, also referred to as tribal shamanism, uses spells that lend you great strength and power, but at a cost to yourself.
Examples from this school are spells that increase your attack speed, but deal damage to you, or increase your armour rating but reduce your weapon damage.

Falmer Shamanism focuses on the imbuement of weapons, giving them powerful temporary enchantments.
Examples from this school are imbue fire, granting your weapon fire damage, or imbue shock, granting a shock enchantment.

Please comment on any bugs/power issues/suggestions. Power issues include spells being over-powered, underpowered, or issues with the amount of experience gained through spells.

Known Bugs/Compatibility Issues:

The shapeshift spells probably won't work for anyone with a 64 bit processor (please confirm).
There are probably quite a few other issues, I haven't had time recently to properly test this mod, but people were asking for it so I released it before testing. Let me know how it works for you.
