Slow Movement and Battle

Description
Welcome to the SMaB !

With this mod the armies look really huge. The battle are much more longer, infantry walk in regiment to the battle, and running is only for the charge and the fight. The cavalry is much faster than infantry, and flying units are unmatched in term of speed.

MOVEMENT

Speed change (charge speed untouched) :
- Running and walking speed -20% for infantry.
- Flying speed +20%.

Fatigue cost :
- For melee and shooting -50%.
- For running -20%.

COMBAT

For all units, all melee damage (normal and AP) - 50%, to make melee battle longer.
-50% battle melee hit chance. Battle are really longer, you can take the time to watch the fight.

All distance damage (except spell) -50% damage.
All ammo +50%.

Morale change for longer battle (better bonus for defending city, reduced the huge penality for lossing battle, resulting in mass rout, morale stronger : reduced tables of decrease), unit now will rout only when they are strongly damaged.

GRAPHICAL

All unit have bigger model than vanilla, to have a better visual on the battlefield, the bonus is small but efficient. All model size modified to bring more life to the game (gobelin and dwarf smaller, some monster taller, savage orc bigger than normal orc, human heroes with human size, some elite unit bigger than the normal one, grimgor is GRIMGOR, etc). And add variation model's size for some unit, look more wild and monstrous.

All unit spacings completely redone, to have bigger and more natural regiment, some unit dont fight in formation, savage orc regiment is more like a wild pack, same for zombie, etc.

Removing flame effect for some unit :
- Knights of the blazing sun.
- Grail knights.
- Grail guardians.
- Royal Knights (grail knights on royal hyppogriph and royal pegasus).
- Dwarf warriors of dragon fire pass.
- Chaos weapons and mounts (Archaon, his mount dhorgar, and aspiring champion keep their effects).

Removing a lot of buff spell graphical effect, and the small purple lighting summon effect.

Change Questing Knights warhorse, they use now the normal Bretonnia knight warhorse.

Change Royal Knights weapons, they use now lord's swords, instead of lances. Units cards modified.

Included : my reskin mods "Beautiful Spellsinger elf version", "Righteous Knights", and "Pretty Damsel", "Impressive Green Knight", "Graceful Fay Enchantress", "Mighty Paladin", "Feminine Prophetess".

And add little reskin maked only for the smab : zombies dirty clothes.

thanks man, it also is easier on your computer I believe. Makes the map seem much bigger. Vanilla was just too fast.

Can you have a version of this that just reduces walking speed of infantry? I've been trying to find some walk speed reduction mods but this is the only one, and it modifies a number of other things aside from just walk speed.

Thanks for your interest in this mod mefiato :)

I cant make a "patch" for these other mods, that will be a lot of works. Battle mod are not compatible with other battle mod. And i dont want to "steal" the huge works of Steel Faith for example, and take it in my mod.

And finally, i will not work anymore for Warhammer 1. Because the 2 is coming soon, and i will make a new battle mod for it (more than just copy-paste the warhammer 1 battle mod). The new battle mod concept is ready, i have made all the tests needed with warhammer 1.

Good evening, you could not prepare a patch of compatibility with the following mods.

You have a wonderful addon, but it's still not usable to use it with mods that are added by units (most).

The balance is severely affected ....

I ask if this is possible to prepare a patch for the following mods:

The hit points regen buff of certain Lords/Heroes (King Louen, the Green Knigth...) seem to make them too powerful vs the hit chance debuff dont you think? I dont know where or if we can modify this regen in a way tho. If you know please tell me ill make my own modification.

I am always working on this battle mod. With maybe a futur huge change : the regiment would be compact like the Brutal Battle mod, a really nice mod by Boo.

Compact unit are fun, especially because the "ant armies" syndrom is very decreased : with more units in the same place, you dont need to put the camera high to see the battle, and you see better the fight itsef.
