Start Position: Improved Balance

Description
This is a mod that attempts to balance out the starting positions of all the factions for the Grand Campaign. This will change as the game evolves and as I discover more ways to improve the balance. This also is strictly related to the startpos file and nothing else. It's tweaks, lots of small tweaks, not an overhaul. It's mostly to keep the game more active and interesting, nothing more, nothing less.

Current Changes:

Stronger Hordes
- Hordes start with more surplus population
- All beastmen start with harpies in addition to normal units

Bretonnia's Enemies
- Mousilon and Skullsmasherz start with Tier 3 settlements to withstand the odds of starting near a bunch of goodie goodies

King and the Warlord
- Crooked Moon and Clan Angrund start with two regions each, one in the west, one in the east near Eight Peaks

COMING SOON
Complicated Political Intrigue
- About a dozen new starting diplomatic relations making things more complicated and random between factions, particularly among the Bretonnian factions in relation to Mousilon and the Wood Elves. There should be a lot more war, alliances, and so on over there. It's still too quiet for my liking. Someone paid money off to the Beastmen? Trading with Mousillon? The scandal!

It's outdated and I've been working on a nee start position to do it. Unfortunately I have to rebuild this anyways because my old PC died and I lost the work. I might just do the simple switch first and update this for ya.

Hi there, i'm trying every mod i find who change the startpos of Skarsnik, 'cause i'm tired of making every effort of the world to regain the eight picks.. And your mod doesn't work at all for me, frustrating :'( ..

I was going to do an overhaul, but Crynsos' did everything I was going to do. I'll be making a reskin/recolor mod specifically for that one. It won't rename anything, but he's already done that. http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=866743542

Gonna try it out tonight, and I will let you know....This is SO much better then friggin Vanilla. Sega CA needs to hire you as a map coordinator.

I haven't tried with radius. I would assume it still works because it only contains the starting pos and nothing else. Basically if a mod works with a typical faction unlocker it will probably work with this.

I love this mod. Its awesome to actually see beastmen, crooked moon, and skullsmasherz do more then get wiped within the first 10-20 turns. Khazrak is actually tearing shit up (he made a beeline for the border princes instead of Brettonia, thats new lol) and Crooked Moon and Mousilon are forces to be reckoned with, and it hasnt made Brettonia or anyone else "weaker". Nice. Wood elves...Man those guys really eat thier wheaties and powerbars, cuz they jack up people in every game haha! Total chaos! My kind of map....One question...Do you or anyone else know if this works with Radious? I just found out radious was alive and kicking again, and I will probably restart, as I LOVE the slower, more epic radious combat.

This one crashes on me as well at the start of a new campaign. I have all DLC (including Grombrindal) but no other mods enabled.
