NOTE: Aux Sensor Expansion (ASE) has been replaced/made obsolete by Aux Module Expansion (AME). You can get AME here: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=909534906

I will not be updating ASE to newer builds of Stellaris.


A simple mod that adds a few more choices for your auxiliary slots. There are four models, each tied to the vanilla sensor technologies;


* Auxiliary Array: Increases sensor range by 5%/10%/20%/25%
* Targeting Matrix: Increases accuracy by 1%/1%/2%/2% and tracking by 0%/1%/1%/2%.
* Rangefinder: Increases weapon range by 2.5%/5%/7.5%/10%.

...I'm not sure what you're trying to get at here. The damage output displayed in the ship designer is how much damage the ship outputs, with no consideration for potential target evasion/shields/armour. It is that simple.

Ok, not 'accuracy' but this 'chance to hit', thats in the game so is this not counted?

The ship designer DPS calculator doesn't account for accuracy, as far as I know - it's just raw damage output.

Am I missing something... fitting the targetting matrix reduces damage (probably due to the reduction in power) but should it not at least balance with the power by increasing damage (accuracy increase + tracking increase = damage increase?)
