Description
This mod allows you to choose perks with a 500 percent increase (Research , Defense etc)
In order to balance the amount of pollution create by a 500% increase in production i also increased the cleaning rate of the pollution cleaning buildings
The perks cost quite a lot but if you want to create a super god like race
i would suggest using the 200 perk points mod

Additional features :
1. I was asked to decrease the amount of time it takes to build military outposts by quite a few people
so i decided to do it
The only way the devs let you do this is by decreasing the cost of buildings so i had to lower the cost
2. I added a Creative 500% perk which basicaly just lets you have the Creative perk along with the 500% research bonus and without giving the AI races with the creative perk a huge advantage
3. Due to popular demand i've added a perk called "500% Cost reduction" to the ship cost Section of the perk selection
Since this perk basically means all your ship will be built within 1 turn with no cost i gave it a pretty high point cost (10)

Obviously for those of you who use the 200 perks mod this means nothing
again i think this is a game changing perk and i only added it due to a lot of requests
Use it at your own peril
The Ai does not have access to it

FIXED : Research wasn't actually giving 500% instead it was giving 50% bonus

ill be honest the game is not currently installed on my computer and i no longer have a local copy of the mod , so its hard for me to test
i'll try to install the game and download the mod as soon as i can to take a look but it might take some time , between the kids , work and the corona virus craze i just don't have the time

I understand the concept, I 'mod' a few games like that. But I haven't started modding this one so I am not familiar with the files and the locations etc. The game didn't break, exactly, it just didn't register the addition of the Automated Factory for the Physics Tech that was given as a package deal with the Expansionist Perk. Like I said, I tried to remake the game using Militarist rather than expansionist and it works fine. I also have the 200 perk point mod but if I recall correctly, the mod at the bottom is the one with precedence, yes? Your mod is at the bottom because it is the newest one I added. The only other mods I have going are the Antaran victory without attacks mod, the 1 citizen per home world mod, and the Battle Pods Revert mod. I don't see them modding the Automated Factory but since I don't know what file it is in..

This mod hasn't changed since 2017 so one of a number of things happened
Either there was an update to the game that changed something (i really doubt it)
Or there is another mod touching the same files as this mod
See in this game you don't actually mod , unlike so many others , you just tweak the values in the XMLs
now if two mods change the same values in the same XML there will be a collision and this might break your game

UPDATE: I tried again and discovered that if I took Militarist, so I didn't start with Physics, when I actually take physics it works fine. I get the automated Factory. Still not sure why this happened but I can play the game now. I didn't want to go a whole game without AF because of a glitch. I also noticed that some mod, I don't know which one, was messing with Physics and Engineering. I know that in games I played yesterday, before I installed this mod, when I began with Expansionist, I could already build Destroyers but according to the tech tree, that should require Engineering. So, one of my other mods is messing with those...

I only just started using this mod and I noticed something right away that I can't explain. I have a Creative 500% selected but it doesn't give the 500% bonus, so I have to have that ticked too under the research bonus. When I do, I can't also have Creative selected but that is ok if the Creative +500 is acting as Creative. But then in my first game, (I also have Expansionist) I noticed that I can 't build Automated Factories. I look on the tech tree and I have Physics, whichs says I should be able to. I also have biology and the farms and biospheres are available but the Automated Factories are missing. This is the only mod I recent'y added so it is either because of this mod or it is a collision with another one.

its a matter of opinion but they should really be more acceptable to those that dont like it
i for one dont hate the game, its ok , it has its flaws
But i remember playing MOO2 when it was new (95 i think it was)
and this game doesn't give me the same thrill
so i understand why some people dont like it
i wish they would have made it a little more open for modders instead of just giving us a few dozen files to tweak (because you cant really change the core game with this files)

But there are so many fanboys who still claim that they care for the game. A 85KB update after four months... What you say is true but the owner doesn't care for it.
