World Financial Center Two, Lower Manhattan, New York, USA

Description
World Financial Center Two (Brookfield Place)

225 Liberty Street, Located on West Street between Liberty Street and Vesey Streets, New York, NY 10007, United States of America

225 Liberty Street, formerly Two World Financial Center, is one of the largest skyscrapers in New York City, located at 225 Liberty Street in the Financial District of the New York City borough of Manhattan. Rising 645 feet (197 m), the building is the second tallest of the four buildings in the World Financial Center complex that stands in southwest Manhattan.

It is similar in design to Three World Financial Center, except that its roof is dome-shaped rather than 3 WFC's solid pyramid design. It is notably similar in design to One Canada Square in London's Canary Wharf development. Canary Wharf was, like the World Financial Center, a project by Canadian developers Olympia and York, and One Canada Square was designed by the same architects.

The building is home to Time Inc., BNY Mellon, Commerzbank, First Data, Oppenheimer Funds, Inc., State Street Corporation, McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP, Thacher Proffitt & Wood, LLP, and several divisions of France Telecom, among other companies. It is an example of postmodern architecture, as designed by Cesar Pelli & Associates, and contains over 2,491,000 square feet (231,400 m2) of rentable office area.

It connects to the rest of the World Financial Center complex through a courtyard leading to the Winter Garden, a dramatic glass-and-steel public space with a 120-foot vaulted ceiling under which there is an assortment of trees and plants, including sixteen 12-meter palm trees from the Mojave Desert.

Yes you do have to extend the roads to complete it.Thanks for your input bud. Nice building - Cheers

thanks SilverWind - duely noted going forward, I appreciated that input. With the latger buildings I sometimes go over the editing grid in the AE, so I place the road in ready, otherwise when a road is added in the game, it destroys some of the base on the model. A tricky delema!
Buildigs going forward should be smaller, so shoulnt be an issue. CHeers matey

Oh yea I agree, the roads are so hard to work with in the asset editor. caused me many sleepless night! I'll be uploading the whole WFC in the next few hours hopefully, so that will be interesting!

Yeah, looking at old pictures, the difference is pretty negligible. Plus the roads in this game are kind of a weird width.

@Appletini - hey bud, oh its pretty much 1:1, its 90 in the assett editor, so not really noticable to be honest, I have it in front of the old WTC and it looks correct compared to actual images.
ANother reason I drop them down in size a tad as they stray over the edit grid, which means when a person adds a road next to it, it destroys some of the model base and looks ugly, cheers bud

So, if your WFC (which is awesome regardless) isn't in 1:1, does that mean your other buildings aren't either? Also, while I agree that almost any 1:1 skyscraper looks a little odd in this game, the World Trade Center mod is 1:1, so would you consider making optional full scale versions? Thank you.

I work on slightly smaller than 1:1 so that buidlings dont look to huge compared to the vanilla buildings, like a compromise if you will. And also because of the size of the actual building they they stray over the grid and you get road overlap around the edges. Just my thoughts! cheers bud
