Play Europe (Gods and Kings Edition)

Description
I initially modified Dale's big Europe map for private use only, but decided to share it with you (for those who rather want to download maps than create them themselves). There are true start locations for all European Civs to date. I tried to give the terrain an even more realistic look and covered the map with resources, trying to make it well playable at the same time.

The map has slightly been reduced in size, from big to standard by cutting off redundant sea tiles at the top and left side of the continent.

It comes in 4 different flavours: There is a separate one for each game pace option, allowing you to choose whatever game speed you like, as it cannot be changed in one scenario.

The city states Venice (spices), Lisbon (pearls), Marrakech (ivory), Ragusa (sugar), Yerevan (dyes) and Tyre (jewelry) have unique or semi-unique luxury resources.

Edit 28.02.2013: Version 2 of this map pack now contains the new Atlantic Discovery maps which are basically the same Europe scenarios combined with a North American continent to explore and colonize. This gives you a new challenge once the optics have been researched and you have caravels.

Installation:

Just click subscribe (the green button).

Playing the map:

Once you're in the game go to Main Menu - Mods - Activate mod - Next - Single Player - set up game not Main Menu - Single Player - set up game. Choose the map (and respectively game pace) from the drop down menue.

IMPORTANT: To avoid that random civilizations, starting positions and resources appear in your game (for instance China in Europe) or if you start at the wrong place it is essential that you click the following button after choosing the map in the game setup screen, in order to have all the game elements as intended:

Now select your Civ and difficulty level. Done.

Playable Civs:

France
Spain
England
Celts
Sweden
Germany
Austria
Netherlands
Rome
Greece
Hunnic Empire
Russia
Ottoman Empire
Carthage
Babylon (DLC)
Egypt
Denmark (DLC)
Byzantium

If you're a Mac user:

A Mac version of this map pack is available here (for manual installation):

Known issues:

Workshop problems
If the map doesn't show up in your mod list, just delete the game cache in username\documents\\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache and restart the game.

Strange Civs in your game
If you do not own one or more of the DLCs listed above, the game fills their gap with random civilizations. So you might encounter America in Denmark or Siam in Babylon.

(Ha ha, woops, posted in the wrong version)

Native American Tribes Please?

I got to ask. I see the problem, if you added the native american civs, there's an option for the player to break the scenario by starting on the other side of the ocean, but its really a let down that they're not present. There's the expected research ratio as well, migration set the tribes back, I guess you could position their starting settler somewhere it would take extra turns to settle or severely cripple their capital, most tiles mountains or water. Personally I'd vote to just put them in, most of us are looking at this with the desire to start in Europe, and just like I'm probably not going to play one or two civs, so I'd very likely ignore the Tribes, and requiring that they're met before the congress would really motivate the move.

Ragusa is the modern-day Dubrovnik in S. Dalmatia (Croatia), not in Tunisia.
