Nice friend, but your mission doesn't make sense. Even if you don't give me a map, which is completely unrealistic, at least give me the direction of my base or the coordinates of the point of RZ with a helicopter. You have done an absurd mission and on Nam and how to do the missions on Nam you have a long way to go. HI.

There is no waypoint or direction in this mission. Great idea but I think it needs a lot more polishing before it is playable.

Had to make two comments (now three), because Steam is unhappy with more than 1000 characters because redding is teh hard, and we wouldn't want to have a population that is a bit more literate than apes, now, would we.

You do know that in the difficulty settings the player can disable showing soldiers (including the player) on the map, right? So, if your goal was to not give the player his position via magic god's eye view, this would be how to do it. And this way, it would make for an interesting navigational challenge and the mission had a point.

It's unrealistic to not have a map, as a pilot. Even if it fell out of his pocket, he would have at the very least a rough idea (usually a pretty accurate one) where he was. He would also have an idea into which direction he should go in order to get back to friends. So, even if you don't want to give the player a map, you should at least provide that information in the Briefing. I see that you added a compass later - well, ironically, not having a compass would be more realistic than not having a map, since the compass might have been broken during the landing, even though that is also unlikely.
And not having a compass would be a sensible challenge, since you can still figure out which way to go etc. by the position of the sun in the sky, and landmarks, while not having a map and zero direction makes this mission pretty pointless.
