Busy Monday on Woodhead Line ("Overtime")

Description
You need: Woodhead Route Add-On (incl. European Loco & Asset Pack)Scenario: StandardDifficulty: MediumDuration: 50minsThis is the (unplanned) Part-7 of the "Busy Monday on Woodhead..." - series....and consequently it's named "Overtime"......as overtime is quite often 'unplanned':-)) When you arrived back in Manchester at the end of Part-6 you were already looking forward to do some paperwork and then meet the Buddies ..... but your Boss had "better" plans for your afternoon. He was really pleased and satisfied with your performance therefore he considers YOU to go some extra miles to perform some important duties before close of business today.....in short: He asks you to do some overtime and therefore you (almost) volunteered to keep him happy. You need to deliver an urgent supply to Bradfield & Son close to Gorton and from there take over a heavy load and bring it to Guide Bridge - hence, not that challenging.....but as it's a "Busy Monday on Woodhead...." things may develop and get different than expected. So, fire up your Class 37 Diesel and follow the tasks your dispatcher gives you. Enjoy the late afternoon sun before you return when it's already getting darker....Hope you enjoy.

Hi robmerlo, I just tried it and I had no issues - even with 4.x mph. So, I wonder what causes it for you, expecially considering that no one seems to have such issue. Anyway, thanks for trying and letting me know. Cheers, Coasty

Hi robmerlo, great to see that you have performed some 'overtime' :-)..... just weird to read that you could not couple safely at 3mph. Do you remember where this was, then I give it a try, as I think nobody had such issue before. Cheers, Coasty

Hi chris, so finally you completed your day including a bit of "overtime". Great to see that you have enjoyed this as well and even better to see (for me) that you like this kind and style of scenarios. So, what else can I say other than a BIG thanks to you for taking the time to play all my UK scenarios and for providing feedback to each of them - really much appreciated. Let's see what's coming next, but there will surely be further scenarios also for UK routes. Currently I'm collecting some impressions on various routes, but no decision as of yet. Cheers, Coasty

The foreman told me it was just to drop a couple of wagons off - remind me not to volunteer again !!! Seriously though an interesting and good fun 'overtime' run that nicely ends the shift. Incredibly professional set of scenarios Coasty and hard to believe it was your first attempts. Well thought out and interesting shift that was both very realistic and enjoyable to run. Now I will get withdrawal symptoms so hope the next shift for a UK route is not too far into the distance ??? Thanks for your efforts and for sharing Coasty. Regards Chris.

Recently found this. A fitting end to the other series. Worked very well.

Hi RolandBP, really appreciate that you give my creations a try. Hope you will enjoy and I think I need to play some of them as well as now time has gone by and I don't recall each and every detail anymore :-)... and I love the era around 50s/60s with Diesel and Steam in parallel.
Looking forward to hear from you again. Cheers, Coasty
