Nightblood

Description
This mod adds the sentient talking sword Nightblood from Brandon Sanderson's book Warbreaker.

It is craftable at the Separator's Table for 5 Phase Matter, 10 Durasteel, 10 Violium and 5 Silver.

Stats:
41.5 Damage per swing.
1.2 Rate of fire.
42 Energy usage per swing.
50 Damage per Second.

Item ID: nightblood

It's pretty powerful right now but requires a large amount of energy to swing, it will probably need to be balanced later.

Not sure if you still here, but it would be cool if you could change Nightblood's weapon level to 6 instead of 1, with the same stats, so if you level up the weapon it would be more balanced. Thanks for the mod tho, I would really like to see more of Brandon Sanderson's ideas on the workshop

In terms of balancing the damage...
most tier4/tier6 legendary broadswords do around 30-35(37 at the very most) damage per swing.

In terms of balancing the energy...
I would suggest giving it a shadow version of "flying slash" broadsword ability, rather than costing energy to swing normally.

so does it have random dialogue or something
Smooth Regular 9 Dec, 2016 @ 9:01pm
do you have any plans for it to just randomly say things, or comment on certain actions? like how it's purpose is to "destroy evil"?
