French rifle MAS-36 PROPs

Description
The French service rifle introduced just before World War 2. Extremely rare to find in games, this example is from a vietnamese game called 7554.

Includes:

MAS-36 rifle with internal rounds, bayonet, sight and mechanical bodygroups
Separate models for the bodygroups
7.5x54mm MAS round

A French rifle designed to replaced the old Berthier and Lebel rifles in the French armed forces. It featured a shorter length, an internal magazine akin to that of the Gewehr 98 aswell as a built it bayonet. Due to production starting late, it saw limited use in World War 2, being used in full during following conflicts such as the First Indochina War. Although it was replaced by the MAS-49, it's legacy continues in the FR F1 and FR F2 sniper rifles, which use the same bolt.

Name: MAS-36

Manufacturer: MAS
Class: bolt action rifle
Caliber: 7.5x54mm French
Action: bolt action
Ammunition type: internal magazine
Ammunition capacity: 5 rounds
weight: ~3.72 kg

Please report any bugs you find.

Its round was pretty punchy compared to the .30-06 in terms of ballistics

Not a big fan of the bolt design...however I hear these are pretty good little rifles for what they were

France doesn't get much love in war, does it. But they DID conjure up some great things during WW1 and WW2, and between as well, like the Renault FT17 or something like that

If you find how to open the files on that game notify me ASAP.

Could be a problem elsewhere too, as well as considering the age of the game and PS2 in general

It's a PS2 game. I attempted extracting the files, but there was only one program capable of doing it, and it did not work.

I also tried ripping the model from a running emulator as a last resort, that did not work either.

A problem from the game by chance?

Yeah, I tried getting the model from that game, but I was unsuccessful.

Rather neat looking if you ask me, loved its animation and sound design in TBRO
