Description
Mod is created for and tested on GK + BNW. (May work with just BNW, but with no guarantee. It is definitely not gonna work without BNW.)

Credits
Various unit models from civfanatics; Wolfdog, Bernie, Nutty, and more.
Music tracks.

Without the doubt, I consider the "Portuguese-Spanish"/Iberian civilization as the most significant civilization that emerged after the Roman one. Well, it may be even the only truely significant one from the certain point of view. They made the world small and one. As usual, the mod is tested, but they may be bugs, use at your own risk.

Portugal - Afonso de Albuquerque
UA - Mare Clausum - Resource diversity grants twice as much Gold for Portugal in Trade Routes
UU - Cacadores - rifleman, cumulative defensive bonus from stationing on resource, in occupied territory, or adjacent to coast (doubled if fortified)
UB - Endenho - Watermill - no requirements. Allows you to rearrange your luxury resources from plantations, by rearranging them empire-wide or replacing them with Sugarcane (unique bonus resource).

Portugal - Joao II
UA - Gain an extra copy of Luxury Resources within territory you discovered first that is not under your ownership.
UU - Nau - (unchanged)
UB - School of Navigation - University, +1 Science from sea Resources; Cargo Ships may discover new Trade Routes (with unrevealed city), which grants 200 Gold (you may also meet new civilization or city-state)

Portugal - Maria I
UA - Descobrimentos - Can found cities on plots adjacent to luxury resources for City-states, which grants +70 Influence.
UU - Bandeirantes - Musketman, Extra Sight promotion, can found cities for City-States
UI - Feitoria - (cannot be build, appears in city-state territory after you become an ally with it, permanent)

Spain - Isabel
UA - Seven Golden Cities - Culture, Happiness, and tile yields from Natural Wonders doubled.
UU - Conquistador - Changes: no extra sight, no increased cost
UU - Explorer - Scout: 6 Strength, 3 Movement. +3 Strength per level. Upon discovering Natural Wonder*, reveals area around it and gain +15 XP (+60 if first).
*Doesn't trigger if there is adjacent already revealed Natural Wonder (Great Barrier Reef triggers once).

Spain - Philip II
UA - Invicible Armada - Units receive extra defense bonus after every defensive combat in that turn (stack up to 3 times)*.
UU - Tercio - (unchanged)
UU - Galleon - Frigate, available at Astronomy, adequate cheaper.

Additional notes
Have fun.

I made another test with Luxury Bananas and it still works for me.
I have posted detailed information about how to find an issue on civfanatics, if you are still interested.

I also left a message on civ fanatics talking about this problem. See your LS civilization series post

I was using a mod where bananas as counted as a luxury resource. I tried to reverse sugarcane to banana and the game crashes

I am not gonna be able to do anything in this case, mods sometimes work differently on invidual machines. I recommend to simply disable this mod. If you are still interested in other civilizations, you can remove/disable Afonso in the mods folder.
If you are using dll any mod, please leave the name, I may check if there is a fatal interaction.
If you were replacing sugarcane with other modded resource, then let me know as well.
I have just tested it (v5 of mod) and it works perfectly on my pc.
Sorry for ruined game.
