Hide Gravgun (read description!)

Description
This addon will only hide the world model. It is meant to be used with one of the linked addons below.

Also check out "Hide Physgun" here

Tired of seeing everyone running around with those big, clunky sci-fi weapons for moving objects? It can be quite a distraction, especially in roleplaying.

This addon will make the world model of your Gravity Gun invisible, or just barely visible, depending on the lighting. Note that it will still have a shadow if you somehow drop it, and will be just barely visible, so you will still be able to find it. It is inspired by (and meant to be used with) these mods:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=467357951
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=387875348
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=467357308

THE VIEWMODEL WILL NOT BE INVISIBLE. DOWNLOAD ONE OF THE TELEKINESIS MODS ABOVE.

This addon only works if the server has the addon installed, though changing it to be clientside is probably possible.

(I am a complete lua noob and this is one of my first addons. Still, report any bugs or problems in the comments and I might try my best to fix them sometime. I only made this because I couldn't find anything similar. If you can improve the addon in any way, you are more than welcome to do so and upload it, though I would appreciate it if you credit me for the original.)

That works too, but it still looks weird when you do need it.

or you can just download an ''empty hand'' mod then switch to physgun/gravgun when needed :p

You should do a crowbar one

A clientside version is easy enough, just outright modify the texture (.vmt) files in notepad++ so that the worldmodel becomes transparent.
