To fix the caviar issue, go to the mod folder (library - right click - show local files - find "mods"), find the folder 785847790, open "modmain.lua" with notepad, scroll down to the "local chestloot" section, go to the spot right before the "}", start a new line and paste the following string:

caviar = "bottlelantern",

remember to add a tab right before "caviar".

I've made the test, I gave all kinds of fish to the octopus and the crash didn't happen, could you fish be from a mod? Anyway I've updated the mode so it won't crash if the chest spawn fails.
