This API provides Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data in a signed 8-bit PNG format which works well with the game's height map import function almost as is.
I have some more validation testing to do with the OSM data and road placement, but so far the results have been very good with far more accurate placement on the generated terrain.
I will need to rewrite the documentation to provide clear instructions for getting a good result, but it's very likely I'll have this done between now and Christmas.
