The Gambler's Draw Coachgun

A gambler is known for making risky decisions and testing his luck.
Sometimes he gets lucky and wins a bunch of gold.
What he decides to do with that gold is what determines if he's a smart gambler or not.

If he uses it all to try to win more gold, he's a smart gambler.
Though he will most likely lose it all, there's a chance he might get even more loot.

But if he takes said gold and uses it as a fancy plating on his shotgun, he's a dumb gambler.
Because instead of drawing cards, he'll have to draw his shiny new toy after he's been caught cheating at the poker table (since he used all his gambling funds on his gun)... And inevitably, with a shotgun that eye-catching, everyone will have their sidearms at the ready long before our dumb gambler even realises that he's just gambled for his life and lost.
