Description
Praetor Class Battleship MK II, produced by Ares Combat Industries

The Praetor MK II is part of ACI’s 3rd Generation of warships, which was started with the release of the Ascendancy Titan. Unlike the Vanguard Battleship MK II, which was constructed to be a more defensive warship with an incredible amount of armor the Praetor MK II is the exact opposite. The Praetor has been constructed to fulfill the role of an all-out offensive battleship. It features 40 turret installations of which 26 are Gatling turrets and 14 are missile turrets and even has the space to support two Sidewinder Interceptors. The Praetor is able to deal an uncountable amount of damage and the warship works best with other ships working as screening ships.

The Battleship has been equipped with all the newest ACI Technology including an all new Ship Diagnostic System, which is able to pinpoint where the ship has been damaged. In addition to that all new 3rd Generation ships are equipped with an Emergency Beacon, which can be turned on, if you are in need of assistance. Aside from that the Praetor also features Blast Doors in order to combat rapid depressurization in case of a hull breach.

The Praetor Battleship MK II is often used as the commanding vessel of a smaller fleet or attack force. It is often used to assault smaller ships, but cannot be left out in major battles. If you happen to see one roaming around in space, you know that something bad is about to happen.

Authors Note:

During a battle with the Praetor you will be able to turn on a Projector in the Captain’s Seat., which will be able to rebuild some lost turrets or decoys (Just a little hint). I really hope you like what the old Praetor turned into, I am certainly pleased with it. Feedback is always welcome!

I wish there is an updated praetor battleship with larger hangar with quick deployment bays for fighter and a larger body so it can accommodate large grid modded weapons. But overall i love this ship

Does a pretty good job in all honesty. This and the Advocator Destroyer tend to do wonders on most servers. x3

I've used this ship in two survival servers before. People FLEE from you if you jump into a combat ready stance. It's stupidly expensive to produce, obviously, and equally dumb to maintain for any active combat role, but the ship's level of durability is staggeringly high.

I think I read something about doors opening/closing deletes a bit of oxygen in their vicinity. So each time you open a door it has to refill the doors space with new oxygen. That was like 8 months ago though, so there's a small chance that was already fixed.

@BathroomSync I dont really know why it does that. It might be because your character uses oxygen himself or Space engineers periodically ads oxygen after a predefined amount of seconds.

I wonder, when I walk into different rooms of the ship, why do the oxygen vents always pump air into the room for a couple of seconds as soon as I enter, but then stop until I leave and then enter again? Is it some automatic system made to conserve oxygen?
