The Mercury

Description
The latest ship from the CIE shipyards on Centuari Proxima, I am proud to release Kilroy and W0lf3y’s latest creation the long range advanced recon ship, The Mercury. In keeping with CIE’s long standing design principles, no engineer should ever have to choose between form and function. This ship and its jump ring give it an unparalleled FTL range with CIE’s trademark style. The main body of the ship can operate fully independently of the jump ring when increased maneuverability is required or if it needs to descend into a planets gravity well for exploration. The Mercury is lightly armed and armored and contains all the equipment and storage to support an extended away mission on any stellar body you care to visit.

End User Notes:
This ship has multiple merged grids (via large to small rotor hack) and programs running on timers. Before you start using the ship you need to reset the rotor locks and start the main computer timers.

I would not recommend flying the ship AND the jump ring into a gravity well. I cannot guarantee that the ship will not fly like a brick directly into the ground at 104 mps if you do.

Docking with the ring is easiest if you back into docking with it.

Special thanks:
I would once again like to thank my friend w0lf3y. I left the development of the jump ring entirely in his hand and it is everything that I could have asked for.

Exterior looks very much akin to what I would imagine a new blue ship to look like. Stunning job, you two!
