@opelcantebria, it's actually heavily inspired by another ship in the workshop mady by J.D Horx. But I see what you mean. The Intrepidus is more directly inspired by the Venator, though it lacks the dorsalhangar access and hangar that runs through the ship.

If I remember correctly, I didn't set up a script to make them close automatically. The new one I'm publishing either tonight or tomorrow night will have auto closing hangar doors.

The hangar doors are controlled from the hangar control room. (13th picture from beginning of pictures) The button pannels hanging from the cieling.
