Atheris Shipyards - Panthera L.A.G.S.

The Panthera L.A.G.S. was developed to provide frontline-firepower against small and medium sized ships in a compact and easily deployable package. It carries fixed and turreted weapons that allow for great versatility and a thick hull made of heavy steel armor that additionally encases the ship's most vital system. The Panthera only requires one pilot to be able to fire all of its fixed weapons while the turrets can be controlled by either a state of the art targeting A.I. or up to 4 additional crew members that can also perform different tasks.

Aside from heavy armor and impressive firepower the Panthera also features a holographic deception system that is intended to hide the ship in plain sight by projecting 4 identical holograms around the Panthera. Nicknamed "Ghost Wingmen", the system was first used to great effect on Atheris' famous Vipera line of fighters / interceptors and has now found its way into ASY's latest deadly creation. Most noteworthy is also the implementation of a long-range jump drive, making the Panthera one of the Sol System's first small ships to come equipped with this advanced technology.
