Orbital Ion Cannon

Description
Buy a new item at the Penguin Bay! This item calls down a giant laser beam to rip a hole into the planet!

Be careful not to get caught in the beam :)


The item breaks upon mining it, so place it carefully as you can only place it once! If there are any blocks above it it will also fail and be rendered useless until the blocks are removed. :(


Also... you might find a hidden easter egg if you're lucky. There's a 5% chance for something unique to happen. ;) Enjoy!

This mod is amazing, and it's working perfectly for me. For those that can't find it, try defeating dreadwing and then see if it shows up in the Penguin Bay shop. The spawnitem also worked for me no problem. Thank you @supermandrew!!

I'm having the same problem @Epixelator is having. This is such a neat concept and its a shame it no longer works. I know 1.4 made mods act kind wonky, but that is honestly no reason to give up on what you got going. This mod went really well with the Planet Transponder mod and the Pocket Dimension mod. Please, please, PLEASE bring this mod back to life.

this mod would be so much fun if the item still appeared in the game, I can't even spawn it in with /spawnitem orbitalioncannon or /spawnitem ioncannon and the penguin dude no longer sells it. I love this mod but please make it work again.

imagien havingFU and this mod at the same time then when you want respawn somewhere you acidentally place this down "SHIT NOT THE ORBITAL CANNON!"
