Jacobeast's Elite Desert Legionaries

Description
There is always something new out of Africa, and this time, it's something deadly.

The elite desert legionaries are a tier 3 very heavy melee unit that are recruitable from tier 3 and tier 4 military infantry barracks by the western and eastern roman empire. Their design is meant to reflect the sturdiness of a professional late roman soldier, with a hint of African influence. Officers wearing panther skins on their shoulders and legionaries wearing desert robes over heavy armour are the perfect blend of roman military prowess and african heritage. These legionaries are very decent warriors, they are immune to desert attrition and pack a mean punch. Go forth and defend the Southern provinces, so you may eventually conquer what lies beyond the Sahara.

These battle-hardened legionaries are specialised in desert warfare, and are determined to fight for their home provinces, their people and their empire. From Africa Proconsularis to Mauretania Tingitana and from Numidia Militiana to Tripolitania, these legionaries are renowned for their courage in battle, their expertise of the wastes and their unparalleled skill with the sword. Their fathers were legionaries, and their fathers before them; these men are drawn solely from the best military families in the south. Handpicked by the local centurion, each legionary is the embodiment of everything that is roman: strong, wise and loyal.

Unit stats:

Melee defence: 32
Melee attack: 45
Morale: 52
Charge bonus: 30
Recruitment cost: 750
Upkeep cost: 180

Uses textures the last roman dlc, I will upload a non-dlc version if you guys want one!

can you make them recuritable for eastern factions, like lahkmid, sassanid, the jewish dudes or the garmatians, CA did a really poor job on alot of the eastern rosters, and many of them were well known for taking the deserted legionares into there ranks, or maybe make desert palatina-legionaires recruitble :D

Hello, Can you create a similar hoplite like the Spartans, greeks, macedonian or a linothorax hoplite? Please

As far as I know the by-far hardest bit is AoR implementation, particularly when it comes to garrison composition. In fact, I can't recal any time I've seen a region-specific garrison mechanic before.

@Dorian: Thanks man, I appreciate it. I already started working on the unit pack, It'll probably be finished by the end of this week! Yeah same here, but it's really difficult to get into the campaign mechanics, especially changing garrisons with non-vanilla units, because the chances of a screw up are really high, and then you end up wasting hours of your life :p.... But who knows, if the unit pack is received well-enough, I'll try and look into some garrison changes. No hard promises though haha.
