Hudson Aero 914 Peregrine (Needs to be Updated)

Description
(EDIT 10/3/2018: It's been about 2 years since I've uploaded this, and there's a few non-critical elements of the design that are outdated. It still works, but I need to update it to be 100% pure and functional as it should be.)

=LORE=

Hudson Aerospace, started in 2026 as only "Hudson", began as a small plane manufacture company, but Isaac Hudson's true goals were to eventually achieve the finances to build space-worthy vessels capable of atmospheric flight, aswell as spaceflight. He dreamed to break the "invisible barrier" which seperated man from space travel, and he knew it could be done by anybody. The only problem was nobody really cared to.

So, he made it his goal to be the first.

After designing multiple planes, small and large for numerous kinds of purposes, the small company name quickly caught attention from many directions; this included the big players of the industry. It didn't take long before they expanded beyond civilian planes. Within a blink, they were manufacturing airliners, private jets, fighters; the whole field. The fact that one man with a small team of engineers managed to do this was creating a ripple unseen in the world of aviation. Their designs were simple, reliable, and cheap. For the first time ever, they made the "people's plane", and aviation had become as trivial as owning a car. The company expanded at a breakneck rate, and quickly placed itself within the big leagues in under a decade.

Isaac's company ushered a new era, but he was far from finished.

By 2034, his company opened the Aerospace branch, and they quickly got to work.

By 2038, the world's first successful spaceplane capable of it all was born; flight, orbit, reentry, and landing. The J-920. Simple, reliable, and cheap. As always.

150 were made for sale, and were sold out in that same day. 3,309 more orders were placed, and reserved the following month. It didn't need to be said, the J-920 was a massive success. Since then, the world didn't know it, but that very vehicle shattered the barrier.

A booming economy for space travels and businesses formed around it. What followed afterwards?

Well, the rest is history.

=Hudson Aerospace 914 Peregrine=

A 5 minute standing ovation was made when the 914 Peregrine was unveiled. It was fast. Real fast. The fastest in the world, actually. It broke the long-untouched record for fastest air-breathing aircraft with a blazing (quite literally) speed of Mach 9.14. And-- not enough emphasis could be made at the insane fact that it was an airliner.

In the year 2036, the 914 became the flagship of Hudson's commercial planes. With an overwhelmingly positive reception from airline companies around the world, it started to become rare not to see one ripping high through the skies. Holding the pedigree of Hudson, this plane had forged the way to the future in every way.

Knowing the insane speeds the plane achieved on the norm, it quickly garnered a nickname; the "Peregrine". This was largely thanks to the revolutionary technology of the Plasma Hybrid Engine, designed and engineered by the Aerospace branch of Hudson themselves. With 1 equipped on each wing, these monstrous engines easily slung the vessel into the skies, and began producing increasingly exponential amounts of power with the more air it absorbed. Eventually, the thrust produced would become so potent, it would turn the compressed air itself into the massive plumes of plasma that many have now come to recognize. The plasma alone at this point accounts for 95% of the thrust, making the engine absurdly efficient.

The material and technology behind this counter-intuitive engine still remains extremely secretive to this day.

As for the reception, everyone spoke with nothing but the highest of praise; smooth, fast, easy. For a plane with commercial use intended, the 914 went above and beyond in delivering its services to all perspectives, from pilot, to passenger, to company.

=914 Peregrine Controls and Tips=

NOTE: HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO GREATLY INCREASE YOUR TOP SPEED FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT.

I truly tried to make this as pilot friendly as possible for both seasoned and inexperienced flyers! There's a checklist in the cockpit before flight that you should always follow, specially if you intend to use this in survival. This is very survival friendly in terms of oxygen and power supply. To recharge, I'd recommend you to place a 1x1x1 Merge block anywhere you choose, and hook it up to whatever means you choose to recharge the plane by.

~Pilot/Co-Pilot Controls~

1. Engines On/Off
2. Gyros On/Off
3. Reverse Thrust On/Off (Let the inertia dampeners slow it down)
4. Decrease Engine Thrust
5. Increase Engine Thrust
6.
7. Beacons
8.
9. Landing Gears

Tips? Always always always make sure your inertia dampeners are on. The backward facing thrusters are small and very weak when manually applied, but the inertia dampener strength on them is insane. Also, the landing gears have an indicator in front of the pilot seats to let you know what position they're in. Anything else, just ask in the comments!

Have fun :)
