Description
After the battle between Trace and Athetos and the disappearence of the Breach, the cyber world Sudra has finally been revealed to everyone across the universe. Nowadays, people easily got their hands on the ancient yet advanced technology the Sudran used to have.


This mod adds several items from the indie metroidvania game Axiom Verge.For now, the weapon can be built at the Breach Attractor, which is built at tier 3 inventor's table/architect's table.

The gun has several switchable modes and is suitable for almost all combat encounters.

Weapon (mode) list:

-Axiom Disruptor:
"A high-tech biomechanoid weapon." Your first weapon in the class. Switch between weapon modes with the right mouse button radial menu.

-Inertial Pulse:
"A beam of pure inertia drives through multiple targets." Does not penetrate blocks.

-Flamethrower:
"Fires a stream of flame." Penetrates blocks and enemies.

-Kilver:
"Fires a short-range burst of electricity." High damage for close quarter combat. Penetrates blocks and enemies.

-Shards:
"Ambient moisture is frozen into razor sharp shards of ice." Very high Rate of Fire, low Damage per shot.

-Multi-Disruptor:
"Fires 3 projectiles at a time." Short range.

-Reflector:
"Projectiles reflect off of walls."

-Data Bomb:
"Explodes on impact." Does not damage blocks.

-Quantum Variegator:
"Randomly adjusts its flight vector for more coverage."

-Heat Seeker:
"Projectiles attract towards enemies."

-Ion Beam:
"Fires a continuous, directed beam of ionized particles."

-Nova:
"Firing once launches a large projectile; firing again causes it to detonate."

-- Fixed the invisible lab coat sprite.
-- Fixed some UI issues.

Known Issue:
Firing sounds sometimes don't switch correctly. Deslecting the weapon and re-equipping can fix that immediately.

I just noticed that mentions of "Athetos" are instead "Anthetos".

If you do any more updates for this mod (like to include things that aren't in the Axiom Disruptor at the moment), I suggest adding "bioweapon" to the "itemTags", considering how the weapon is described. Just for cases where that tag might matter.

Alright.

Just for the heck of it though, I tried balancing it myself with a little patch. I figure there's still damage bonuses from armor and other things to consider.

Very nice weapon though, either way. Much more interesting than the Adaptable Crossbow.

When I was making this mod, I was concerned that the weapon might be too weak and not up-to-scale against monsters and bosses from other mods. Giving it a high DPS could be considered a compromise between the base game and various unpredictable mods.

As for hiding the floating icon, I have not played or modded Starbound in a long while. Maybe I will get back to it one day.

I'm a little concerned about the high damage potential of the weapon's projectiles (I'd personally halve it at least, for starters), but it's quite a fun weapon.

I would like to suggest however about making a small patch mod people can subscribe to that will hide the projectile icon floating over our head. Switching modes is easy enough to understand, and I think people will be aware enough.

Отличный мод, но некоторое оружие из AV работает не как в оригинале. Например модуль Тесла.

I haven't tested, I just had to uninstall all of my mods... because I had so many the game wouldn't start up.

Is this mod still supported? It's one of my favorites and I'd hate to see it go...
