M5a-LGCM-01 Chappie

This is the newest model for my multiple player series, "Chappie". It seems in my experience that many players depend on guns and firepower to defend and offend in Space Engineers. Though this is not a bad thing, it is quite outdated in a tactical sense in light of 21st century military doctrine. So this cruise missile fits the bill for an advanced strike, while stealth in its deployment and projection towards the target at hand. It is quite a delight to hit a braggart player with the ship with the most guns from afar, especially when he does not see it coming!

The Model Five, Type (a), Laser Guided Cruise Missile, Production Number One is a stealth advanced strike ordinance. Using the laser antenna instead of the radio antenna, this missile has a potential 50 kilometer range with no detectable signiture except for line of sight, or sensor/turret detection. It packs 5 large block warheads, which detonate before impact of the target for maximum damage effect. This does a 'depth charge' effect on the target, thus producing more damage in a greater area then if the target had actually been physically impacted. It is fueled by hydrogen, so no uranium is required to propulse the missile. Also, it works equally well in planetary and space environments, making this an excellent planetary bombardment weapon as well. Furthernore, this weapon can be used in reverse order to knock orbitals from space from a planetary platform or silo undetected. This is a powerful tool I use in my multiple player experience, and I hope that if you subscribe it serves you as well in your advanced strike arsenal.
