In this guide im going to explain to you how you can get rid of the "bug" that doesn't allows players to alt+tab back in the game. Basically you can't even click on the logo in your homescreen bar.

How to
So if you Alt+Tab out of the game you have like no way to get back into it.

Except if you follow these steps.

1. You open Steam and go into your Library.

2. Now you click on No Man's Sky.

3. Click on Play.

4. Wait.

5. You should be back in No Man's Sky now.

Just use borderless window.

i got a bluescreen when first trying to tab back in.....

alt+ctrl+del doesn't work either. HOWEVER, changing from Fullscreen to Borderless DOES fix the problem!

Method in the guide can't work because if NMS is already running then instead of the green PLAY button it's a blue STOP button.

I JUST tried the overlay method: didn't work.

Didn't know about Win+D or bringing up the overlay THEN going to desktop.

Just press Win+D. I don't know who still uses alt+tab to go to desktop. This is so wrong and not intended to use.
