sadly, not to knowledgable about Civ, so color that a big mistake. I do think it was a proper choice to make a similar to venice set up for the Sirens, and the music and voicework (WOOT for Wubcakes help) does make me want to learn to play this vic properly...
but before htis ive only ever done well on science based wins, while this screams Culture to me. whatever the case, thank you for putting this together. it looks like a solid set up!
If you read their Civilopedia you'll find the reason why Tanks of DOOM are being used by Aquatic Pacifists.

I was testing with pretty much just your mods + couple others that shouldn't even effect graphics.
I get that some people would find the Venice style to be "gimmicky" but thats why it has its fans: Its the only Civ that plays completely differently. Thats why I gave my Civ the Seapony Scouts. In any normal Civ this would be the most overpowered Unique Unit ever. But since Sirens can't build Settlers the Scouts main purpose becomes finding other City States and Civs to form Trade routes with and decide beforehand which City States you want to Puppet first, instead of hanging around your territory finding spots for settlers to build cities in.
In terms of First City placement I've already programmed this Civs Starting Location's to have First priority on starting on Coastal Tiles.
But I was thinking the same British Poo was, it feels like a Venice clone. That's not a bad thing in my book but for high-grade players Venice is consitered 'joke' tier and very weak.
I completely understand your concern. While through my modding I came to learn from the Civ 5 community that there is a faction of players who love playing Venice so much they rarely if ever switch to a different Civ. Now the overall goal of my modding is to create a Modpack with 22 MLP Civs and a variety of other Mods so people can play Multiplayer together. So I felt I needed to include a Venice style Civ in the MLP civs so the Venice players wouldn't be left out. So if I was going to make a "Reskin" then Celestia Dang It I was going to make the best "Reskin" ever. I don't see why your knocking my Seapony Scout though, it's completely original and has valid Game design behind it. Thanks for sticking around, I work too hard with other people in the Fandom to just Phone something in.
