Description
Welcome to the new, starwars_hoth
starwars_hoth is a map which focuses on knife and gun orientated combat, with custom classes (5) - three of which are knife only, one guns only, and one a combination, of course it's also finished off with a splash of Star Wars. This map is most suitable for a Minigames server, although there may be some conflicts with the custom settings the map utilises, see below for any potential issues you may occur. For optimal experience, play with as many people as possible.

Main features
- Hoth: the map takes place in and around the Rebel Alliance's Sierra Base, including a comprehensive interior, and an outside area, with a tunnel, situated on the peaks of the Hoth Mountains
- Custom game mode: Conquer: A fun and tense game mode that has you securing Sectors of Sierra Base to earn points, and ultimately victory
- Heroes: Luke Skywalker and Han Solo for the Rebel Alliance (Rebels), and Emperor Palpatine and Boba Fett for the Galactic Empire (Imperials)
- Classes: Jedi Consulars, Sentinels, and Guardians, Consulars receive low gravity and fast speed at the cost of low health, Guardians receive the opposite, and Sentinels in the middle - the Sith have their equivalent. Also Rebel and Imperials Troopers with varying weaponry, as well as Hero classes, which are improvements of the previous classes
- Fully-functional lightsabers: All Jedi/Sith-based classes have a lightsaber, the colour depending on the class
- 3D Skybox: Star Destroyers in the sky, and the vast Hoth Mountains in every direction, including a Rebel Generator keeping Sierra Base stable
- Easter Eggs: Assist your allies as Luke by learning the art of Force Healing, or improve Emperor Palpatine's shocking Force Lightning by meditating at shrines located throughout the map
- Star Wars Music: all of the best themes, including Binary Sunset (The Force Theme), The Imperial March, Victory Celebration, Duel of Fates, The Emperor's Theme
- Custom Textures and Models: Sleek interior textures, Snowspeeders, and an atmospheric tunnel
- Pre-game preparation: choose equipment assosciated with your class before the game begins
- Minimap: a fully working 3 levelled minimap
- 64 player support: there are enough spawn points for 64 players

Custom game mode: Conquer
- In this custom game mode: Conquer, you must rush and secure the current Sector to earn points for you alliance
- Whilst you are in the active Sector, you will be earning points for your team: CTs are Rebels, Ts are Imperials
- To ensure you are earning points for your team, make sure you are inside the hazard lined area, you will also hear your generator beeping, as well as it glowing your alliance's colour
- Look on the Minimap for the number corresponding to the current Sector, when you get nearby, you will see your alliance's generator through the walls to hint it's location if you are not sure
- By default, the generator will be lit white, if you see a generator lit red, it means an Imperial is currently occupying the Sector, likewise it will be lit blue for the Rebels
- For every second you are in the Sector, you will gain 1 point for your team, and you will see your score in chat for every 10 points earned - first to 75 points wins
- If no team has reached 75 points by the end of 10 minutes, both teams have lost, and everyone will be executed
- But if you reach the score limit, you will have the oppurtunity to execute all opposition - so help your team to attack/defend Sierra Base!
- You will keep respawning when you die until a team wins or the score limit is reached - but the amount of well-equipped classes is limited to 32 per team, so don't waste your team's lives, and you can only access the pre-game armoury in your first life

Potential Issues & Advice
- Do not jump near the walls/ceilings in displacement areas, including the blown out wall of the Medic Bay, the corridor up to the 1st Floor and the Tunnel - it can cause you to get stuck, and unable to get out of it, I have tried to minismise the possibility, but it is still slightly possible, especially getting stuck in the walls.
- I recommend playing using Casual game mode so that you can have time to prepare, and utilise the normal settings as well as custom ones
- For the game mode to work, it utilises mp_roundtime, mp_ignore_win_conditions, mp_respawn_on_death_ct/t. It is best to not have your server alter these commands or it may conflict and alter the map gameplay negatively
- To play the map directly and offline with bots (though bots are not fully supported), the map name is starwars_hoth, so simply type "map starwars_hoth" in console
- When you respawn as a lightsaber wielding class, you will not respawn with a lightsaber, I'm aware of this and am looking into a fix

If possible, try to play with some other people, the gamemode should make for a fun experience if there are at least 6 of you or so.

Just tested and it worked for me? Make sure you're going to Play - Play with Friends - Game Settings - Workshop - starwars_hoth - Casual. Granted, the bots aren't working very well, but the map does work?
