DS9 Danube Class USS Amazon (Vanilla)

The USS Amazon is my attempt at creating the Runabout class ship that first appeared in Deep Space 9. The ship is of a similar scale of the original, and is made entirely by vanilla blocks.

This build was in response to Captain Shack's challenge to create a runabout from the video above.

She has a total capacity of 4 persons, two crew to opperate, and two additional passengers. She features a living quarters and living space in the rear, with a two person teleporter near the front cabin, and an empty space for mission specific modules with storage on either side. All doors are fully automatic, Star Trek style, with special boarding hatches designed to lock whenever a rotor transition is complete. Things should not go horribly wrong and explode with all the rotors and pistons the ship has. She is survival ready.

She utilizes ion, atmospheric, and hydrogen thrusters. She does not need to utilize hydrogen thrusters in order to fly in the atmosphere.

For armaments, she has six total rocket launchers mounted on the top where the torpedo tube is located.

Do not expect it to fly very fast, she is more akin to a tank than it is a space craft, but she can enter and leave a planet's orbit under her ownpower. Enjoy. :D

EDIT: Ok, it was a bit more difficult to balance the changes I've made to give this thing gravity. A few things exploded here and there, the thrusters having to be rearranged as well as there being a need for me to add more of them to compensate for the additional mass... It was difficult, and once again she is now able to take off a planet again.

Thruster damage is no longer an issue, and I added a lot more gyros to make turning a little easier. Only a hundred or so more.

With the gravity generator, it is now hooked up into where the empty room was, and she is part of the grid. I did not do a cheatsydoodle with mods, she is still 100% entirely vanilla and will work in all worlds. I need sleep now.

EDITEDIT: Sleep is for the weak. I wanted to also say that I will NOT be making a modded version of the ship. The reason why this ship was made in vanilla was because A) I couldn't be bothered with finding the right mods, and B) Because I can.

The real reason is because I wanted to give you guys the freedom to add whatever mode you want for your own worlds, without having to worry about having all the mods in order to make her work. You can just casually paste this into a world and ram your friend's station and not worrying about having the right thruster mod so the ship could actually move.

The other reason is that it is by far, much, much easier retrofitting a vanilla ship to be modded than it is to retrofit a modded ship to be vanilla.

If you want the large ship blocks mod to small grids? Toss it in there. Replace my projector. Want to have a functioning teleporter? Rip mine out and install one. The freedom is up to you guys.

With that being said, I am ready to sleep for a week.

EDITEDITEDIT: Alrighty, so I loaded up this blueprint to find out that the projectors got screwed up. The projectors are no longer screwed up.

EDIT 4: I am going to update this design to reduce lag, and introduce proper lights as well as fix some other things you probably won't even notice.
