3 Diamonds for Dubloons ( formerly - The Beakeasy Shop fix)

Description
adds a copy of the vanilla dubloon diamond recipie to the beakeasy shop, in the event that someone overwrites it

why?
well if you use Doctor Geeks mod "The Beakeasy Shop"
(NOTE: outdated as hes updated his with a fix of his own incorperated)

which is an excelent mod, i wholely reccomend

//(outdated information)he has removed the ability to buy Dubloons for diamonds

this just adds it back
you dont strictly need his mod to use this, however it will cause a duplicate entry in the beakeasy shop, if you dont use his or a similar mod

i made this for my own use, but i figured others might want it aswell

(Note 2: This mod is remaining uploaded in the event that some other mod, someday overwrites the recipie)

spoiler tag for small rant about why ive uploaded this

instead has currently set them at a rather rediculous number of pixels for purchase (12k of them)
a decision i believe he made on the suggestion of some commenters who thought his origional price of 1800 pixels was too little
perhaps it was
but i feel he went a bit overboard

i attempted to voice my opinion on this matter suggesting the pixel value of diamonds as a price to set (3600)
and he basicly told me to bugger off and go find another mod
then promptly blocked me from commenting

its his right to do so, i dont blame him
however, on his post he has (or had at time of writing) a request for suggestions
he asked for suggestions, i gave him my suggestion, he aparently didnt like it

oh well

(update, he has since readded the 3 diamond recipie to his mod, but i am, as yet, still banned from commenting on it)

Btw if this was a copy it would be tooken down cuz copying is wrong, but its not a copy its a g8 addon for a mod

It's nice that he finally re-added the diamonds option, but he's still throwing his horrible attitude around. I decided to take his advice and not use his mod at all. But you still get my upvote for what you did. Cheers!

what makes you think i am taking his work?
seriously, take a look at the core of my mod
it is litterally 1 file that says, put a recipie in the beakeasy shop costing 3 diamonds for 1 dubloon

its exactly what the vanilla game does, its exactly like any other recipie file is, if i were to write a recipie file for this from scratch, letter by letter, it would come out like it is, BECAUSE THATS HOW IT WORKS

this doesnt steal anything, it doesnt mess with his mod at all, i made it simply as a responce to a problem i saw at the time, i also feel i was treated rudely and impatiently and thus, i respond in kind

if you dont like it, dont use my mod, i dont care, i made something i thought people might like, the point is moot now

but that doesnt mean im going to delete this because you dont understand how recipies/shops work

this is what I've noticed you are so impatient that you are willing to take someone else's work without even asking I know you did not Make this mod first and you are not trying to fix it you are justifying the fact that you are taking someone's work and when the author tells you to delete a mod that in response corresponds with his you are violating a code why don't you go and find your own ideas and stop stealing from everyone else if you don't like it then unsubscribe from his Mod I will also report you if you do not

so long as no assets were copied, i see no issue with an add-on like this. Dozens exist for FU for little changes people dislike, etc. Now, if it was his actual stuff with your changes added in...that's another matter entirely.

you made a completely unnessessary fix to your completely unnessessary overwrite
the exact thing i did to avoid actually touching your mod

if i copied anyone, it was the people im SUPPOSED to copy, aka chucklefish
and only to restore what you removed

now im not going to block you, like you did me, but ill thank you to please let it drop

Again it's still a copy insted of asking me to re add the feature! Witch was in proccess but some of us have lives outsie of gaming :) But anyways you already have show other modders your a copy cat :)

okay, 12k is far too much for dubloons, especially if your going to remove the ability to buy them with diamonds
was that intentional? because i got hundreds of diamonds, but i cant buy a dubloon suddenly because the diamond price is gone
