You have to give up a lot when you're pushed to the limit.
Then how much should people give up if their civilization collapses?
Look at them, the ones who had to survive in these ruins of the world.
They had to give up a lot of things after all; Technology, culture, history, almost everything they built.
Of what they gave up... there was also their humanity.

The Rimsenal: Feral mod is designed to introduce a new enemy faction that is unique, yet doesn't disturb the rimworld’s original atmosphere. The new enemies are coming from ruins and the wilderness. It's not easy to adjust to a harsh rimworld, but they did it in a brutal and extremely practical way. What you have to face is a combination of tribal barbarism and pirates' firepower. If you don't adapt to them, then the fate of waiting for you is to become kebabs or sofa.


The lost: Feral equipment is neither beautiful nor convenient, but it's enough to kill people. Feral weapons have a short-range and low accuracy, but they have high firepower and fire rate. Moreover, the close combat with the feral clans is very dangerous because most of the feral guns have a bayonet to finish their opponent close and personal.

The damned: It's not just the bloodthirsty raiders that make up the feral raid party. Various kinds of war beasts and mutants follow them, after the bodies and trophies. Because they are not humans, you need to treat them differently.






New Equipments



Feral weapons. Beat'em to down!

Feral weapons are easy to build and don't require special technology to build. While their range and accuracy are questionable, most of the feral firearms are act as close combat weapons at the same time. You need a scavenger bench to produce feral weapons. And most of them require slag chunks as ingredients.


New Enemies



Feral monsters

Some of them are hungry mutants that follow ferals to raid. Some of them are warbeasts deployed by ferals. But it's the same that all of these freaks are trying to kill you.

are these bugs and errors people talking about true? its a pain if it is, dont really want to load everything over and over with my modlists, too bad i want them on a fallout run...

Would love to add this to my next playthrough. Has the invisible enemies been patched or has there been a fix found? How about the drop pod raid crash?

So question: were the pawns given to this ever given resistance to toxic sources ? (Gas, weapons, environment etc)

Also noticed an invisible Gutcher after a Feral raid. Sprites/Textures are not rendering it seems like. Same problem as the other non-pawns from Rimsenal Federation's bions.

Is it intended that you can't put gutcher, ogrenaut, shriker, etc. corpses in stockpiles or butcher them? My only option seems to be just let them lie there and rot in the middle of my defenses.

i caught an unintended mod interaction: If you use "Recycle This!" (https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3253550009) , the game will throw an error if you try to recycle the patched shirt or the boomrat sticks. Most other items seem to work - i guess recycle this! needs a receipe. My workaround so far is, to simply destroy or sell those shirts instead.

Same with skeleton (real): the Ogrenauts are invisible on my end
