Automated Mining Platform (Vanilla)

REWORKED!!! Same function lower material cost and less lag. Plant it in the ground Centered over an ore deposit. Add uranium And click one button to mine millions of resources automatically!! WARNING make sure when you leave the game the miner is at a complete stop and out of the ground or things might go in several different directions when you log back in.

When the start button is pressed miner automatically starts everything up and begins drilling down. When it reaches max depth it returns to the surface spins slightly clockwise and starts again. One press of another button pulls the drills out of the ground and shuts everything off. Different levels of gravity are not an issue plant this anywhere that is relatively flat (have not tried sideways in high gravity)

Set and forget design short of running out of cargo or mining everything out in a complete circle it should just keep going and going. I reccomend adding more large cargo if you plan on leaving it for long periods. Original design used solar panels but it takes a lot to be reliable as positioning relied on the whole machine moving and rarely lines things up with the sun. In the long run the reactor was the better choice as you only need to add a bit of uranium and it will run and run regardless of the sun.

It also has a lot of reach so feel free to make a pad and place it on the pad (or vehicle even) just be warned this is a light build not designed to be moved. If you are looking for that my Beetle Platform can do that and soon my Ransack platform will be automated and mobile so look at everything else i uploaded. Also my smaller vehicles are all designed to work with this platform if you want some quick vehicles to click in
