Orpington 03 Frigate (NO MODS)

Description
The Orpington series is getting a full overhaul, every ship being upgraded, updated and built from scratch. First one I'm putting on the workshop is the new 03.

DESCRIPTION:


Like before, the 03 is meant to be the minimalistic large ship version of the 05, however I have renamed it to a frigate as that suits its size category better. I was planing on releasing all the ships at once, but since this one has been ready for a while, no need to have it collect dust.
It has everything the old one had that you would need for survival (Refinery, assember, oxygen etc) with the exception of gravity engines. I chose to build this ship without them based on feedback.
It is 100% survival ready, packs more firepower than the old one and a heck of a lot new features. Speaking of which....


NEW FEATURES:

- More thrusters (The old ones were too underwhelming)
- Hydrogen thrusters and tanks ( ^ )
- Missile batteries (It can broadside and it looks amazing)
- New bridge (It's an actual bridge now)
- New hangar
- More GUNS! (That don't shoot each other)
- Less armor (to make it look better)
- Button panels with presets, groups etc
- Lots of action groups in most seats
- A lot of visual improvements

COMBAT TESTING:

Don't know why, but for some reason the AI NPC and other creations that I have made were not interested in shooting at the bridge. It is actually relatively safe up there, but as always, I recommend using the CIC just in case.
In any way, this ship needs to be flown like an old Galleon is sailed since biggest and most optimal firing solution is attacking from the side.
Which brings me to the next thing, when the 03 decides to broadside an enemy ship or station, it can basically cut it in half. Tremendous firepower for a ship its size.

Combat effective against:
- Small ships (of any kind really)
- Large ships (Basically it will anihilate every NPC ship in the game)
- Frigates
- Destroyers

Combat ineffective against:
- Cruisers
- Battlecruisers
- Battleships
- Capital ships

so i dont see connector for station docking but i see a small hanger what do you use to refule as a cargo ship docking in hannger? love your ships btw

Recon, I am really liking your designs this one was the first and my current favorite. However I am having a little trouble with the scripting in the Programable Blocks working.

Alid! That is without a doubt the most thourough and perfect review for ships in SE I have seen to date! GREAT WORK! Loved the video and how you went into all the details! You deserve a lot of credit my friend :)

PS: Frikken amazing how you were able to bail the ship, run to the hangar, weld the broken door and undock your fighter which was fully intact! :D People, you have to see this video!
