Normandy Landing Map [BWM]

Description
[Bary's Wargame Maps]

Uploaded by Sly., made by Baryonyx because Bary has a bug that does not allow him any more uploads!

Here you will find a large map of a cliff coast, made for WW2 wargaming. Includes three looping sounds to enhance the atmosphere. The mod includes a LCVP model with openable hatch. The model is not well optimized, so a lot of them can cause lag. I could try to reduce their polycount if players request it.
Also includes a prototype force of americans to use as attackers aswell as some vehicles that were used in the historical battle. I recommend to use my german army models if you play an accurate normandy landing battle!

Of course with a few changes it could work great for Warhammer. You are allowed to modify the map, but please ask before uploading and link to the original. Thank you!

This uses work of various other workshop creators. If you see your mod content used here and want to be credited, drop a comment and I will add you into the description or your mod into the required files.

A version without bunkers and coastal defences can be found here: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=726593142

Could be that textures in this mod are broken, I recommend taking a look at my own reupload here:

I've been looking for a mod like this for a LONG time. You, sir, are a godsend!

Yes, this is because I used a random sand texture from the web and apparently that got removed.
For now you can simply google for "seamless sand texture" and pick one you like, then right click the large base and the two ramps, choose "custom", replace the broken diffuse texture link and hit "import".

Due to the aforementioned bug I cannot replace this myself, have to see if I can get Sly to fix this together with me.

The beach textures seem to be missing?
