Description
With this mod enabled, Trading Posts come in 4 varieties: Trading Post=+1gold; Hamlet=+2gold; Village=+3gold-1yield; Town=+4gold-2yield. Only the first can be build; starting now with Trapping instead of Guilds, and each version will grow over an increasing number of turns into the bigger version.

While Trading Posts can be built anywhere, including Snow, and all Trading Posts will eventually grow into Hamlets; Villages and Towns require tiles with at least 1 and 2 yields respectively, and that is because once a Hamlet become a Village, the tile will gain 1gold, and lose 1production or 1food depending on the tile type; same goes for growing from Village to Town. So, Eventually you'll have Hamlets on Desert and Snow Tiles, Villages on Marshes, and Tundra tiles, and Towns everywhere else. This means that you'll have to take care when and where you build Trading Posts, or your cities might not have enough food to sustain themselves, but if done corectly, the pay off will be a lot greater than just using usual Trading Posts.

Trading Posts grow into Hamlets starting in the Classical Era;
Hamlets grow into Villages staring in the Medieval Era;
Villages grow into Towns starting in the Renaissance Era

Trading Posts give a defensive bonus to a unit in the same tile: Hamlet 5%, Village 10% and Town 15%, and also give increased gold with each tier when plundered.

Policy Free Thought now gives +2 science to Towns, and +1 to Villages and Hamlets, and the Commerce Finisher gives +2 gold to Towns and +1 to Villages.

This mod is merely a Renaissance Patch to the original "Trading Posts Grow into Towns" it's goal is to adjust the eras in which the trading post improvements grow, and to adjust and fix a few things with the purpose of working in conjunction with the mod "Winter is Coming to Civ Deluxe"

The commerce finisher appears to be broken for me, is anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

This one actually works. Although it may be a "copy", it works, and I perfer the prerequisites to upgrade the trade posts. Thank you very much.:steamhappy:

So this is just the Civ 4 feature that makes trading posts grow into hamlets, vilages and eventually towns? Nice.

Same stats from Civ 4 too. (I played one game of civ 4 and was shit.)
