Disabled drop for Survival Mode

i just want a eating mechanic so farming isnt useless

Some peeps have reported that this doesn't work anymore and ofc they don't provide their starbound logs, so we'll have to take their word for it.

But can anyone give a definitive on why it works for some and doesn't for many? ty in advance!

Seems like it isn't working. I'm not sure what I can provide to give you a hint as to what went wrong but I can recall what was happening. I was playing the Avikan custom race from Elithian Alliance mod and died to an npc bandit underwater in an oceanic world. I dropped all blocks/liquids/tech/buff foods/and crafting materials. I tried this again using the kill button reward from kevin (frackin universe) and it also dropped items on death.
