Workshop auto mount, you will only ever have to do this once and everything will be automated:

Go to:
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520
Copy the folder: 729355384 to:
Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy\custom
I say to copy it because Steam may try to re-download it if you move the folder.
If you have Synergy installed in the default directory and have a 64-bit computer, you can use this command to copy over the folder:

Subscribe to download 729355384_pak.vpk
If you have SteamCMD, you can use:
workshop_download_item 17520 729355384
Get GCFScape, if you don't already have it.
Open 729355384_pak.vpk in GCFScape which will be located in:
SteamCMD\steamapps\workshop\content\17520\729355384
and extract: materials, and models to:
SteamCMD\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy
You should get a dialogue box asking to merge folders, click yes to all and you are set.
Note: you need SourceMod installed to use this. You can get a model loader plugin I wrote from part 1.

I did not make any of the player models in this pack, I just formatted them to be useable without overwriting the default models.
