This is an extensively redone Donner Pass.
It's been redone using Google Earth Imagery, to better reflect the actual terrain colors and side hill mountain railroading of the Sierra Nevada.
Bloomer's Cut and other landmarks have been added or modified.
It includes desert outside of Reno/Sparks Nv.

Assets needed: Donner Pass Southern Pacific and Cajon Pass or the U.S. Loco and Asset Pack, European Loco and Asset Pack.

I added the Amtrak stations at Roseville and Colfax for the California Zephyr. Is not 100% accurate, but at least there's a train station for passenger service.

WOW! The rework on the rail line and the scenery adds so much more to this route. The colors are great and makes the route less bland looking.

I think you re-did the signaling as well because it sure seems more comprehensive and less cluttered.

Never mind, I figured it out: there was a conflict between my regular Donner Pass which I had upgraded with the Overhauled 2.0 patch (and which uses AP weather) and Donner Redux, which uses the same Assets folder but is not configured for AP weather. Hence I was just getting wire outlines rather than the whole enchilada.

To set matters right, I then imported a host of scenarios for regular Donner, including all of my High Iron Scenarios and converted them for Donner Redux, and they all are - so far - working a treat.

I love what you've done to this old route, and your supplied QD scenarios work just fine. But the vast bulk of the standard scenarios only appear as if they were a black and white negative from the old film days. The only color is the signals!

You can actually play the scenario - it loads and runs just fine, and you can make out your loco outlined in white with puffs of white smoke coming out of the stack. The lineside telephone lines are clearly there in white as well, but not the tracks or buildings or just about anything else.

Does anyone have any ideas? This is the only route I've ever experienced this on, and it's a shame because as I said your re-working of the route brings it back to life.

Cajon Pass is basically a built in route. Kuju RailsimulatorUS and RSC Cajon Pass entries should already be in your directory. They were there back in the 2013 edition when I started out in Train Sim. Unless there's some special European version I am not aware of.

Here is a list of workshop scenarios for the route.

I love this route! I've been using it instead of the original. I wanted to start the eastbound quick drive scenario at Roseville with the California Zephyr. So, I added a platform and a station building at the approximate location. However, it doesn't let me place a player spawn point. I left mouse click near the track and nothing happens. Has this capability been blocked? Is anybody having the same issue? Help is very much appreciated, thanks!!!
