Dragon Ball Z Deckbuilding Game: Frieza Saga

Description
In the Dragon Ball Z Deckbuilding Game: Frieza Saga, you take on the role of Goku,
Vegeta, or as one of their allies or enemies in the struggle for the iconic Dragon Balls!

In Dragon Ball Z, the name of the game is powering up your fighter and blasting your foes with all your might! With new mechanics that allow you to increase your power level, will you use this new resource to gain new and more powerful abilities? Or will you spend it to devastate your opponents with boosted attacks? The choice is yours with new strategies never before seen in a deckbuilding game. Who will come out on top in the end?

Unique Features include:

Evolving Fighters. As you gain Power Level, your fighters will grow stronger and reach new forms, learning new abilities and opening up new strategies.

A 'kicker' mechanic. Use this new Power Level to also give your attacks and utility cards an extra boost to devastate your foes.

A main deck filled with more varied card types, keeping the experience more personal and flavorful. (Not half the deck or more being Heroes and Villians)

Unique strategies previously unexplored. Such as sacrificing and reviving allies from out of play, beneficial weakness cards/fighters, or deck manipulation combos!

Special Thanks to:

Alpha testers for early testing and balancing
3vo for scripting the automated scoring and easy rulebook changing.
Shortcake (RockAndRibbons) for providing the card art and updating balance changes as needed.
Dragon ball Wiki for images not taken directly from the show.

Thanks to 3vo, a new build with fixed buttons has been pushed through. Hope everyone enjoys the new script funcationality

Unfortunately, contributors haven't been able to push updates to mods for a long time. A previous TTS update changed how a few things work, so you will get errors in this older scripting. I will get on Zygon's case to actually push the update through soon (and hopefully release the beta for DBZ2 while at it).

The number values on lines 8, 10, 12, and lines 33 through 40 need the quotes removed to work properly, very cool scripting by the way.

Hey everyone.

Pushed a major scripting update through today. This update should make Zygon's DBZ game easier to set up and jump right into the action! Additionally, all cards that are worth variable amounts of VP should now calculate correctly in all circumstances.

I will begin working on the scripting for DBZ 2 shortly. Be on the lookout for when Zygon pushes the beta live soon!

No, both games use drastically different card types and mechanics. Also, I'm not the creator of Pokemon, just of this and the upcoming second DBZ game currently. 3vo is the creator of Pokemon, but provided scripts and thus is a contributor of the mod.

Is this compatible with your Pokemon deck building game?

Thank you everyone who has given feedback during open beta! With another small balance change, I am pleased to annouce that the game will be moving to a full release.

I am also pleased to announce that DBZ 2 is officially in the works, and will begin closed alpha testing very soon. If you would like to participate in closed alpha, please add me directly if you have not yet. Otherwise, be on the look out for open beta testing in 2017!
